Research Alloys team members celebrate Earth Day by cultivating our native plant habitat.
Happy Earth Day! Recycling is a great way to conserve landfill space, preserve and reuse metals to give them a second life, and helps to create jobs right here in Central Ohio.
Another great way to help the planet is by growing native plants in your garden. Native plants support Ohio wildlife, including important pollinators and other insects. Today, some of the team members at Research Alloys are doing our part to foster native plant growth by seeding Ohio native milkweeds to support monarch butterflies! If you’re interested in learning more about native plants, visit the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District’s native plants page. We’re excited to watch the milkweeds grow alongside our native Blackhaw Viburnum.
Show your support for our planet and your commitment to recycling by swinging by Research Alloys on Earth Day. We accept all types of metal, including steel, copper, brass, aluminum and more. We can even accept some harder-to-recycle items like car batteries, extension cords, electronics, ballasts, and old power tools.
